Cowbells
Welcome to our little tribute to that much-forgotten and oft-maligned giant of the rock musical world: the Cowbell. Originally conceived in antiquity by canny farmers for attaching to their wives thereby giving early warning of an unwelcome interruption to any extra-marital frolicking with the milk maid, the development of the humble cowbell from metalic tinkerbell to hair-metal monolith is a tale of spell-binding awe.
Sadly, we don't have space for it here... but for those of you who, by now, are thinking that we really ARE two riffs short of a full song.... have a listen to our short medly of famous tracks and see if you can spot the cowbell.... oh yes... it's in there all right... and once heard... it can never be forgotten... for 'tis a haunting and truly moving sound...
