The Snooty Fox, Oakworth, Keighley - 22 May 2009
Thanks to the lads for another great night out! The Snooty Fox is a great pub and a big room which meant that everyone could watch in comfort or get up and have a boogie. The atmosphere was great with everyone joining in, singing along, getting up on stage and being picked off for a quick sing by Windy as he moved around the pub! Some got more involved than others! You know who you are!
The mix of songs was great with Eton Rifles a new favourite. The classic Enter Sandman was certainly appreciated by the Metallica fans.
By the time they got to the standing ovation and encore everyone had clearly had a great night and was asking when they would be back.
It was great to be able to sit in comfort and watch the entire band enjoy themselves and perform with style!

The Cross Keys, Morley - 30 Jan 2009
What an excellent evening to-nite's band Creme Brulee gave the Cross Keys faith full two superb sets of quality rock music which catered for all. Knock-out stage presence with the band using every bit of the Keys stage putting it to its full potential, Creme Brulee's music covered a vast spectrum of music from your usually rock to punk & even the add acoustic number which by the end of the evening had the movers and shakers rocking the floor. Halfway through the second set John (vocals) accosted nearly every female member of the audience & filled the stage with the biggest backing vocals every witnessed @ the Keys. The band was also joined on stage with a couple of guest vocalist's one guy allegedly came all the way from Hull by the name of Neil was thrashed out a couple of GUNS N ROSE'S numbers plus a Keys regular visitor & good friend Jay from the newly formed jd band who had the pleasure of perfforming Bon Jovi's Living on a Prayer with the guys. Top night / great band cant wish for more.

CHRISTMAS 2008
HO HO HO!!! were you good this year? Did Santa bring you what you asked for?
Well fans of Crème Brulee certainly must have been good for Santa to bring them two fantastic gigs over the festive season.
The Fleece on Mad Friday to start the holidays off to a rocking start with the guys needing a support act (so they could get in their nap first) Lunatic Fringe!! And WOW what a first set they gave us, with a bit of Kings of Leon and a fab rendition of Gay Bar by Electric Six, which had Glasshopper swinging his hips.
Then it was the boys turn and after a packet of pro plus each they rocked the place with the usual melodic victims. One of the high?? lights of the evening was crème's version of Slade's Merry Christmas everybody!!!! Fully donned with hats and all and of course the crowd obliged with help with the vocals.
It was nice to see the crowd making an effort with all sorts of different festive attire – flashing bunny ears, a Santa outfit and I notice quite a few red noses by the end of the evening. Again a great gig lads!!
Then onto the Cellar Bar in Batley – this is a new venue for the Lads, loading and set up space was a bit of a issue here but once Subs had set up his magicians box it looked like it was gonna be a good night as the fans flocked in.
This gig was a belated birthday party for Windy and fans came with pressies and balloons , the first set included renditions of Pretender, Smurfs like teen sprit ( ops sorry Dan!!), I fought the law and All the Small things which got the crowd in the party spirit.
The second set was started with the combination of Slither and Enter sandman and also included a guests spot from a bevy of Windys beauties and a special duet (Baby when your gone) with Karen who was her birthday as well. The boys did the usual rock party numbers for the encore, but persistent fans wouldn’t let them go before the band’s unofficial theme song of Chop Suey got its usual airing.
The guys will be taking next week off to recharge their batteries (Pace Makers) and return for a January special at Ring of Bells, Queensbury Saturday 10th at 8.30 ish
The Snooty Fox - Keighley 15 November 2008
This venue is a good music venue, with a stage and own lights. Access is fairly easy if done from the front of the building.
Where was subs ?????, Stuck in Blackpool at a Children in Need after show with a hangover and no transport home! After various texts reminding him of his other charitable activity of help the aged rock band, he arrived on a donkey with the obligatory kiss me quick hat.
This gig was another first night for the guys and they were off to a flying start even though initially there wasn’t much of a crowd. They rolled out all the favorites and just before the break had the crowd singing along.
The second set was really well enjoyed and even though Windy struggled, yet again, to get a stage full of beauties, he went off road into the crowd and got some willing?? vocalists.
Cell had been let off his leash for a change and it was a real crowd pleaser when he abused Windy whilst doing his acoustic numbers.
By the end of the night the boys had, as usual, the whole pub singing and baying for more.
Another great gig !!!
The Fleece Inn, Elland - Friday, 21 December 2007 knowing that Neil, the landlord was moving out in the new year, we made sure that possibly our last gig here needed to go down well.
Well, we didn't disappoint - the only problem was that the entire band decided not to drive and began drinking well before the start of the gig so, our timing and "tightness" pretty much fell to pieces. Even so, the gig went down well and everyone who attended really had a good time!
"Hi John, we all had a great time at Fleece (25th May), what an ace pub, need another friday gig at that one. Thought you belted out some great songs. Good to see an enthusiastic band that are as energetic as we are lol.!!
Your version of chop suey by s o a d was fab and thanks for doing Jet."

Ian's 40 Birthday Party, Preston,Sat, March 24
What a good do !! Unfortunately, Anna couldn't make the gig and Cell, a drummer in another band agreed to fill in.... and fill in he did!!
The sound check didn't seem to be too promising as we were asked to "turn it down a bit". As the sound gut, the volume was about as low as it could go in order for Cell's drumkit to not drown us all out!! Anyway, all went well and we were well received. At one point (Love in an Elevator) we must have had over 20 women on stage standing round the Mic's from 8 to 80 years old! Can anyone beat that? In all, the gig was a resounding success and the host, Ian, said that he would definitely cross the peninnes to see us again!!
(Not a bad review, indeed).
Crème Brulee played here for the first time on 23rd February 2007 and they brought the house down; it was a fantastic night and I booked them back on the spot without hesitation. They were billed as a great band and they lived up to that reputation without a doubt.
Dawn, Landlady, The Bridge, Huddersfield.
The Shay Hotel, Halifax - Sat, Feb 17
Great venue, bags of stage space - we used our new bass bin - a 15" Mackie sub unit - seemed to go down very well - apparently getting booked there again !! - Bring it on !!
The Bold Privateer, Shipley - Fri, Feb 16
Nice Venue, interesting stage, plenty of room. We all had a great time and I think we went down well.
We employed them as a form of arty crowd control - we wanted to get the ground cleared as quickly as possible after the big game. It worked a treat! We were all locked up, ground secure and back in the local pub an hour after the final whistle
Elmer Fudd, shower hand, Tiitington Rovers ARC
We booked them for my Wife's 50th Birthday party, at the house. How the hell they got Manhattan and all the other gear into the conservatory is a wonder. Anyway, everything was going ok until the roof collapsed from the sound pressure, and some blonde groupie called Elaine managed to collapse on the drinks table and waste all the stella... Still, a good night had by all. Stangely, the wife wants to re-book Creme Brulee at a hotel but doesn't want them to play...
Mick, Mirfield
Creme Brulee are by far the oldest, crumbiest, magnificent bunch of has-beens on the circuit today. Marvel at the musical cock-ups, be awed by the cookie stage gear, dodge Glasshopper's kung-fu kicks but don't whatever you do, miss them!
Sychophant, Emley. (Thanks for the cheque guys)
